Privacy notice

This notice explains how Recycled handles personal information and submitted project materials when you use the site.

Information we collect

• Account details: email address, name, and optional phone, Telegram handle, and company.
• Submission details: project name, summary, stack tags, repo URL, revenue or user counts if you provide them, uploaded videos, PDFs, decks, and related review metadata.
• Account activity: email verification, password reset, email change, sign-in, submission status, export, and account deletion events.
• Basic product analytics: page views and performance data used to understand whether the site is working.

How we use information

We use this information to operate the submission workflow, review codebase acquisition opportunities, communicate about valuations and offers, secure accounts, send transactional emails, troubleshoot abuse or delivery issues, and improve the product.

Project materials

Submitted repos, files, videos, PDFs, and decks are treated as confidential review materials. Recycled uses them to evaluate whether to make an acquisition offer and to complete any transfer you approve in a separate written agreement. Ownership does not transfer just because you submit a project.

Service providers

Recycled uses service providers to run the app:

• Supabase for authentication, Postgres database, and file storage.
• Resend for transactional email.
• Vercel for hosting, deployment, and performance telemetry.
• Plausible for privacy-friendly analytics if analytics are enabled.

Recycled does not sell personal information or use ad-network trackers in the current app.

Retention and deletion

You can export or delete your account data from Account Settings. Account deletion removes your profile, submissions, and uploaded assets from the app's primary systems; scheduled reconciliation jobs clean up orphaned records and storage objects if any deletion step partially fails.

Some records may remain temporarily in provider backups, audit logs, email delivery logs, or security logs where required to operate the service, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

Your choices

You can update profile details, change your sign-in email, export your data, or delete your account from Account Settings. For questions that are not covered there, contact the Recycled team through the email thread attached to your submission.

Legal review

This notice is a working product notice based on the current app behavior. It should be reviewed against the operator's actual jurisdiction, company details, support contact, subprocessors, and retention requirements before accepting production submissions.
