Terms of service

These terms govern use of the Recycled website and submission workflow. Any signed acquisition, assignment, or transfer agreement controls if it conflicts with these website terms.

The service

Recycled reviews abandoned, dormant, or underused codebases and may offer to buy them. You can create an account, submit a project for review, upload supporting materials, receive status updates, and respond to offers.

Recycled is not required to review every submission, make an offer, keep an offer open indefinitely, or complete an acquisition without a signed written agreement.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must use an email address you control and keep contact details current enough for Recycled to communicate about your submission.

Submissions

When you submit a project, you give Recycled permission to access, store, review, and internally evaluate the submitted materials for the purpose of deciding whether to make an offer and completing any approved transfer.

You keep ownership of your project unless and until you sign a separate written agreement that transfers rights. Do not submit code or assets unless you have the right to disclose them for evaluation.

Your responsibilities

You agree not to submit:

• Malware, stolen credentials, secrets, or intentionally harmful code.
• Code, data, or assets you do not have the right to share.
• Materials that violate another person's intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights.
• False revenue, user, ownership, licensing, or provenance information.
• Content intended to disrupt, scrape, overload, or exploit the service.

Offers and payment

Valuations and offers are non-binding until Recycled and the submitter both complete the required written transfer documents. Payment timing, amount, assets transferred, and any continuing obligations are governed by that written agreement.

Service availability

The website is provided as-is and may change, pause, or stop at any time. Recycled may suspend or remove accounts, submissions, or uploaded materials that appear to violate these terms or create legal, security, or operational risk.

Data export and deletion

Account Settings includes tools to export account data and request account deletion. Deletion is subject to operational cleanup, provider backup windows, security logs, email records, and any records Recycled must keep to enforce agreements or comply with legal obligations.

Legal review

These terms are a working product draft based on the current app behavior. They should be reviewed against the operator's actual entity, jurisdiction, support contact, acquisition process, tax/payment handling, dispute process, and retention obligations before accepting production submissions.
